The Suris
The suris are the more elegant cousins of the
huacaya alpacas.
Suri alpacas have fibre that can be best described as falling in "ringlets".
Their fibre is considered exceptional for garment production, with many
properties of human hair. Suri fibre gives new meaning to the word
"soft". They are relatively rare in the lama world.
