Thanks for stopping by - it's always nice to
show off the herd to visitors. I thought this might be the easiest way
to show off the animals you were interested in - I've just cut and pasted
them below. If you have any others that you're interested in, I'll add
them here.

Xanadu's
Dewdrop
$500
Can be CLRC registered
Price includes breeding
5 years old
This is the one that belongs to our
friends. There is a long story behind her. She was purchased from them
by an individual who never finished paying for her. I ended up with
her staying here, and the real owner was unable to take her back once I'd
seized her from the woman who in effect had stolen her from the real owner.
I'm sure that the real owner would be willing to register her if I asked
her, but I would make that a condition of the sale, that I could get the
papers for you.
She is white with a peach tinge on her back. She has been
used for 4H so is well trained and very gentle on halter. She was shorn
after this picture was taken. We could include her fibre if you want it.
Her sire is
MMR Touch of Class so she is a grand daughter of GNLC Windwalker, one of
the most famous llamas in Canada. His stud fee was $3,000.
Dewdrop would sell with a breeding to
Carlos. |

Xanadu's Carmen Electra
$750
Can be CLRC registered
I will have to find the registration application but I believe she was born
in 1999.
Here is a picture of Carmen Electra (the beige girl) with
her cria, Black Rose, when Rose was very young. Rose is all black
except the white star on her forehead. She weighed over 30 lbs at
birth. Carmen is a very good mother.
Carmen's sire is a full Peruvian llama imported en utero from
the U.S. His name is
Lanzar and he is a son of El Fuerte. who is from Kay Patterson's herd in
Oregon. She is the top llama breeder in the US, and she
handpicked El Fuerte in Peru. Carmen is exceptionally tame and gentle
as you saw in the field. That sort of temperment tends to run in
bloodlines, so her offspring will probably inherit the same calm temperment.
Carmen would sell with a breeding to
Carlos.

Xanadu's
Black Rose
$1000
Can be CLRC registered
sells with a breeding
Born August 2, 2002.
This is the daughter of Carmen Electra, the beige girl that you liked. Her
sire is
Hughes Rising Starr, a wonderful llama who had amazing crias. She is a
half sister to the suri girl, Xanadu's Puddin Pop and she is 1/4 Peruvian
from
Lanzar on
her mother's side and 1/4 Chilean from Hughie so she is half South American.
Rose would sell with a breeding to
Carlos. |

Xanadu's Black Pearl
Can be CLRC
registered
$1250
Born June 10, 1999
She is very black and very friendly.
Black Magic sells with a breeding to one of our males, PF Carlos. Her fibre
is extremely fine and she is jet black under the sun bleached ends.
Magic is one of the few female llamas I've ever seen who will nurse someone
else's cria. She fed her own and another female's cria. She has the
finest fibre of any llama on the farm. Her sire is MW Ace from a very
famous llama farm in Washington state, owned by the Nordstrum family, Meadow
Woods Farm. Her son is Xanadu's Little Man Tate - here's his photo. He
has the same calm temperment as Magic.
Sire:
MW Ace
Dam:
Serenity Poetry
Pearl would sell with a breeding to
Carlos.

If you want to buy llamas or alpacas, I would
only sell two at a time, as they are very herd oriented and they don't do
well by themselves.
As I mentioned, if you wanted Carmen Electra and her daughter Black Rose,
you could have the two of them together for $1200 and I would pay for their
registrations.
The two boys, He Man and Little Man Tate can't be registered.
It was nice meeting you - please let me know if you want to come back and
take pictures or look at the herd again, etc. It sounds like your farm
would be ideal for the llamas. |
